Cloud agreement inked between SAP and NZ government.

SAP New Zealand has inked a cloud framework agreement allowing government agencies to buy cloud systems under standard terms.

The agreement applies to SAP’s public and private cloud portfolio including its ERP business suite, human capital management and payroll, external workforce management, platform and data management, citizen experience and engagement, supply chain and procurement, and its innovation and analytics platform.

“SAP is seeing increased demand for our solutions and services on important New Zealand initiatives, so this agreement will allow agencies to benefit from operational efficiencies and become intelligent agencies supported in the cloud” said Nick Quin, director, public sector of SAP New Zealand.

The Department of Internal Affairs, as the lead government agency, signed the agreement on behalf of all central and local government agencies, which can now access standard terms and pricing.
